Well, we can never predict what will happen in a class. You give the material to your students, but what if any of them did not take it to class? You have to play with your mind and find a good way to fix and move on. I learned it, and I am proud that I could manage it very well hahahaha.

Second class.
Well, my second class experience was a little harder than the first one, but as future teacher, I must be aware that unexpected situations will always come up wheter you are ready or not. I cannot complain about it because I know I did my best, and somehow, I liked the adrenaline hahaha. Well, I started with a dictation about family. The teacher uploaded the material for the students in moodle, but they did not get the material, so in my mind, there were so many thoughts at the same time lol. What was I to do? Well, if I had not my classmate and friend in the classroom, I would not have done anything well. I told him to photocopy the material since the students did not have it. Meanwhile, I was dictating them. When I finished dictating, George came back with the photocopies just in time! Anyways, I had to draw a family tree which was in the material that they did not get. I drew it as you can see on the picture. I could have a very nice experience even though it was a quick reflex that I had to continue with the class as if anything happened.

Hello Dear Gustavo!. I taught the same topic (family) in my second class, and let me tell you that I'm so proud of my self too. In my opinion, you managed the situation in a good way, as future teachers is good to have those kind of experiences because we could manage a situation like that with our future students. To draw the family tree was really nice... CONGRATULATIONS DEAR CLASSMATE!!! Remember, it is a nice experience that will help you in the future, unexpected things always will happen in a class...
ResponderEliminarHello! Gustavo
ResponderEliminarI agree with you when you say that "unexpected situations will always come up whether you are ready or not". I think that as future teachers, we must be ready to deal with unexpected situations, but just with the experience we can learn about them. I consider it was a good idea to draw the family tree in the board instead you are waiting and wasting time. I really like the way you managed the situation and when you say that " I had to continue with the class as if anything happened" and it is really true we must act as you did it. Thanks for your pieces of advice, I am going to take it into account.
I hope you continue doing your best!
Blessings..
I am sure that the situation you faced was not confortable at all.
ResponderEliminaras my previous classmates just said, those situations help us to grow in the teaching practicum area, if we never face them we'll never learn.
Congratulations for keeping yourself calm and to be able to cope and deal with the situation.
Nice drawing by the way. I bet students liked it.
Jajajaja "Super Gordo" to rescue you!!!! Ahhh my dear friend I really like watching your explanations with drawings and everything...well I can tell you that I am in agreement with you, we were so lucky to have a friend working with us in the same classroom...in certain way you feel really supported and it makes you feel confident...I know that you are capable to take hand on any topic, but as you said, it is kind of complicated when we have the wt...sensation!!!! cheers my dear!!!!!
ResponderEliminarAs you said in your comment we as teachers we are exposed to unexpected situations. We as teachers may have be prepared to control those kinds of situations, drawing in your class was a good idea that help you and your students to develop the topic.
ResponderEliminarMaybe at the beginning it was not comfortable, but I am sure that at the end you felt proud of yourself because you managed a difficult situation.
Hey Gustavo!
ResponderEliminarThis is a good example of why we should always have a plan b. I'm really glad you dealt pretty well with the situation, and I encourage you to think about unexpected situations next time you prepare your lesson plan, that way you will be one step ahead problems.
Hi gustavo, let me congratulate you because you did a good job in your class. i faced a similar siuation, at the moment i did not know what to do, but when i solved it, you feel proud of yourself, and it is really nice because you learn how to work with unexpected situations. i wish you the best for next classes. bye

ResponderEliminarIt´s always necessary to have a plan "B" because an unexpected situation can get anyone out of control. But you are on the right track. One of the thing that call my attention is that you are drawing, and that´s good because one can not only rely on technology. One day we could be teaching somewhere with no electricity or any other type of inconvenient.
